IASA - Indian Association of Software Architects

Last friday (12th) got a chance to attend the inaugration of Bangalore chapter of IASA at Hotel Lelapalace.
  There was a big crowd ... it was soponsored by Microsoft and supported by many Arcitects of leading Software companies in Bangalore.

There was couple of sessions on current topics (SaaS, Multidimention of SAs, Whats in Store for SAs, EA [Enterprice Archtecture etc... ] ) ... generaly many on what is Software Architects, what kind of roles and resposiblities do they have in current software industries. The need for a body of knowledge for these group of people, a place to share and learn more about Software Archtecture.

There was a openhouse pannel discussion with leading Architects ( Prinicpal, Chief, Lead ) from companies likle Mind-tree consulting, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, SAP, Infosys.... Many questions were throuwn by Aspiring Architects and Practicing architects which were satifactorly answered by the pannel members.

This association is going to be membership based and shortly will fix the fee....
